Our History
A Family Business Built for the Next Chapter
Pro Techs Pest Control isn't a national chain. It's a local company built around family, experience, relationships and a commitment to doing business the right way.
Todd Gennette started Pro Techs in Concordia, Kansas in 2023, bringing with him many years of hands-on work in the pest-control industry. What he built wasn't complicated: show up when you say you will, explain what you find in plain language, and charge people fairly for work that actually solves the problem.
That business has since passed to the next generation. Ty Gennette, together with Derek and Paula Newlin, purchased Pro Techs and now carry it forward. Ty handles the operational side of the company, and both Ty Gennette and Derek Newlin are qualified Master Technicians in pest control.
The transition didn't change what the company is. The same family roots, the same industry knowledge handed down from one generation to the next, and the same expectation that a customer's trust is earned on every single visit. What has changed is the horizon: this generation intends to keep growing Pro Techs responsibly, at a pace that never outruns the level of service the name has come to stand for.
We live in the communities we treat. That's not a marketing line — it's why we answer the phone ourselves, why we'd rather talk you out of a service you don't need, and why we're planning for this business to be here for the long haul.

Started in Concordia, Kansas by Todd Gennette after many years working in the pest-control industry.
Next-Generation Ownership
Ty Gennette along with Derek and Paula Newlin purchased Pro Techs and continue the family tradition. Ty leads operations.
